A small production company with big aspirations.
Lyse Lafontaine founded Lyla Films, in 1999. Her desire was to accompany writers and directors during the whole process of creation. She made sure that their vision was respected from the beginning to the end. Producing quality independent films that we could be proud of is what she aimed for.
Lyla Films never ceased to pursue that goal. With time, the company broadened its horizon by collaborating in international co-productions. These partnerships gave us the opportunity to work with directors, actors and technicians from France, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg and Rwanda. By the same occasion, it helped the talent of our artists to be recognized around the world.
